According to the notification, taking into account the fluctuations in global oil prices, the government has decided to proactively adjust the prices of diesel and kerosene for consumers in the country. As a result, the selling price of diesel per liter has been reduced from 105 taka to 104 taka, and kerosene from 105 taka to 104 taka. However, the prices of octane and petrol will remain unchanged at 125 taka and 121 taka per liter, respectively.
The revised prices will come into effect starting January 1.
