Conditioning Camp for Kabaddi: A Must-Attend Event

Calling all kabaddi enthusiasts! The Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) is all set to kick off the conditioning camp for the national men’s and women’s teams starting this Friday. After the recent triumphs in kabaddi, a total of 54 players – 27 male and 27 female – will be participating in the camp to gear up for future competitions.

Exciting Updates from the Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation

To shed light on the upcoming camp, S M Neowaz Sohag, the General Editor of the BKF, shared some exciting insights. He mentioned that both the men’s and women’s teams have a fantastic roster lined up. The men’s team is preparing for the World Cup, while the women’s team is gearing up for the upcoming Asian Championship in Iran in February and the World Cup in India in March-April.

Selection Process and Future Plans

The conditioning camp will begin under the supervision of local coaches, who will select 15 members each for the men’s and women’s teams. Sohag clarified that these camps are primarily focused on conditioning and fitness training. However, if the need arises for foreign coaches, they will not hesitate to bring them on board.

Sponsorship and Collaborations

When asked about the funding for the camp, Sohag mentioned that the federation will be covering the expenses. Additionally, they are planning to organize some friendly tournaments, extend invitations to sponsors, and seek sponsorship opportunities to support the teams.
