Expert Advice on Overcoming Fear of Failure

In a recent event held at the Ramganj Government College field in Lakshmipur on Saturday, Mahfuz Alam, an advisor to the interim government, addressed a crowd of local residents. He emphasized the importance of unity among those who oppose fascism within the Bangladeshi political spectrum. Alam urged political parties to collaborate with the government to implement necessary reforms after cultural programs conclude, aiming for a fair democratic transition of power through elections.

Empowering the People

Alam further stated that individuals affiliated with radical groups such as the Awami Fascist Party, who oppose national institutions, public sentiment, academia, or women’s rights, would not be allowed to participate in upcoming elections, as per the people’s mandate. He stressed the importance of maintaining neutrality and fostering a harmonious environment without bias towards any group.

Unity Amidst Challenges

Expressing confidence in the Bangladeshi administration, Alam reassured the audience that the government does not rely on external assistance or alliances to sustain its authority. He commended the students for their dedication and emphasized the absence of any preferential treatment within the system. Alam highlighted the upcoming opportunity for a new state formation within the July uprising, calling for unity among the populace to seize this chance effectively.

Standing Against Extremism

However, Alam acknowledged a decrease in unity among the people, citing a rise in fascist ideologies that pose a threat to national stability. He warned against complacency and urged citizens to resist any attempts by the Awami League to extend its influence, promising to follow the path of martyrs to uphold their sacrifice through continued struggle.

The event, led by Ramganj Government College Principal Didarul Islam, featured prominent figures such as Amir Nazmul Hasan Patwari from the Ramganj Upazila Jamaat, Jakir Hossain – the vice-president of the Islamic Movement of Bangladesh in the district, and Aajizul Haque, the chief editor of the Sadar General of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh.
