Tragedy Strikes: Two Teenagers Killed in Motorcycle Accidents in Noldanga

In a heartbreaking turn of events, two teenagers lost their lives in Noldanga, Natore, due to motorcycle accidents. The victims, Sadnan Safa (14) and Labib Hasan San (16), tragically met their untimely demise in a fateful incident. Another teenager, Siam Sheikh (14), was injured in the same accident and rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in critical condition.

A Community in Mourning

The incident took place on Sunday evening at around 7 PM on the Trimohoni-Mirzapur rural road in the Diarkazipara area of the upazila. The three teenagers, Safa, San, and Siam, were riding on a motorcycle from Trimohoni Bazar to Diarkazipara when they lost control of their vehicle due to high speed. The motorcycle collided with a concrete fence of a house along the road, causing them to sustain severe injuries.

Personal Tragedies Unfolding

Safnan Safa was the son of Rafikul Islam from Diar Kazipur, while Labib Hasan San was the son of Anisur Rahman Dandu from the same village. Siam Sheikh, the injured teenager, was the son of Selim Sheikh from the locality. All three were cousins and students at Basudebpur Shree Chandra Vidyaniketan. Safnan was in the eighth grade, Labib in the tenth grade, and Siam in the eighth grade at the same school.

Efforts to Save Lives

Local residents came to their aid, pulling them out from the wreckage and rushing them to Natore Sadar Hospital for treatment. Tragically, Labib Hasan San succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, while Siam and Sadnan were transferred to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for further medical attention. Despite efforts to save them, Sadnan Safa also passed away late at night, leaving the community in mourning.

Seeking Closure

Following the tragic incident, the police conducted an investigation at the scene and retrieved the bodies for post-mortem at Natore Sadar Hospital. Once the necessary procedures, including autopsies and legal formalities, are completed, the bodies will be handed over to their respective families for their final rites. The entire community is left grappling with the loss of two young lives, underscoring the importance of road safety and vigilance to prevent such tragedies in the future.
