ban-on-all-organizations-ncluding-al-in-todays-ncp-meeting

So, like, today the Nationalist Party (ন্যাশনালিস্ট পার্টি) is all set to hold a big ol’ gathering, demanding the ban on Awami League and all its affiliate organizations, ya know? The shindig is gonna go down at the South Gate of Baytul Mukarram in Dhaka, organized by the NP.
On Thursday, in a video message, the party’s leader Nahid Islam spilled the beans on all of this. He was like, back in the historic uprising of 2024, the Awami League, a political party with a fascist ideology called Mujibbad, had won the hearts of the student community in Bangladesh. But, like, we’re sadly seeing that even after all this time, the folks under the party’s banner have the guts to stir up trouble on Bangladeshi soil.
He goes on to say that there hasn’t been any visible effort to ban or prosecute Awami League by the interim government. Since August 5th, we’ve been coming out as the student community, saying that Awami League doesn’t have any right to do politics on Bangladeshi soil.
Nahid mentioned how Awami League has been promoting fascism in Bangladesh for the past one and a half decades. And they’ve been involved in several mass murders in Bangladesh. Starting from the Pilkhana massacre to the Hefazat’s Shapla massacre, the anti-Modi movement killings, and the latest July movement killings, along with opposition political party members being victims of targeted killings.
This uprising happened for the sake of justice for these incidents. We had made it clear to Awami League that we demand them to be brought to justice in a party-wise manner. But even that wasn’t visible to the authorities.
He said that Awami League has to be brought under the purview of party-wise justice activities. Youth League and other affiliate organizations have to be banned, and their registration during the trial period needs to be canceled. Legal enforcement needs to be carried out by banning political and organizational activities.

Alrighty then, that’s the scoop on the NP’s gathering aiming to put the kibosh on Awami League and its crew. It’s all going down in Dhaka, folks, so keep your eyes peeled for any updates on this sitch. And, like, maybe it’s just me, but it seems like things are getting pretty spicy in the political arena. Let’s see how this all plays out, shall we?
