So, like, there’s this dude named Mo. Shahjahan Mia, right? He’s the current administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC). And get this, now he’s gonna take on the role of Managing Director (MD) of Dhaka WASA as well.
On Sunday, May 18, the local government department put out a notice informing us about this switch-up. Mo. Akbar Hossain, the Deputy Secretary of the local government department, signed the notice stating that Mo. Shahjahan Mia has been transferred to the Development Subdivision of the local government department. He’s gonna handle the additional responsibilities of being the administrator of DSCC and the MD of Dhaka WASA at the same time.
The notice also mentions that this order will be implemented promptly upon the approval of the relevant authorities. Not really sure why this matters, but yeah, that’s the deal. Just thought you should know. Anyway, gotta go now. See ya!
