Additionally, in a separate operation conducted by the Shah Paran (R.) Police Station, another 308 cartons of Indian cigarettes were seized from a truck loaded at Muradpur Point in Shahortoli. The individuals arrested in connection with the seizure were identified as Mo. Hazrat Ali (45) from Sagardari village in Keshabpur Police Station of Jessore district and Aminur Rahman (24) from Dumuria Police Station in Khulna district.

At Muradpur Point, three individuals were seen fleeing the truck carrying 308 cartons of Indian cigarettes before the police apprehended the vehicle.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner (Media) of the Sylhet Metropolitan Police, Mohammad Saiful Islam, confirmed that a total of 14,500 kg of sugar was confiscated from the 290 cartons, with a market value of Tk 17,40,000. In a separate seizure, 15,920 kg of Indian sugar was found in 308 cartons, valued at Tk 18,11,400 in the market.
