According to Mr. Aftab Uddin, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Chandgaon Thana, the operation was part of the Operation Devil Hunt campaign. During the operation, the police arrested 19 individuals for gambling and seized gambling equipment along with cash amounting to 13,194 Bangladeshi Taka.
The arrested individuals are facing charges under Section 94 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) at the police station. The legal proceedings have been initiated against them.
