The Story of 20 Young Achievers at BSLDC

In an exciting turn of events, 20 young individuals recently completed a course at the Basundhara Language and Skill Development Center (BSLDC). The course focused on Electrical Installation Maintenance and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. The International Development Organization Friendship awarded them certificates at the end of their three-month training, on Sunday, January 12.

The trainees successfully completed their short course, impressing the National Skill Development Authority (NSDA) assessors. The main event took place at BSLDC’s permanent campus in Keraniganj, where Friendship’s Assistant Project Manager Reza Ahmed handed out the certificates to the graduates. Major Golam Haider, retired and in charge at BSLDC, presided over the ceremony.

A Message of Hope and Transformation

Reza Ahmed, in his address, praised the quality of the training and emphasized the potential for life-changing impacts on the youth. He urged the graduates to reflect on what they have learned at the center and how they can contribute to their families and society. The training is not just about skill development but also about making a positive difference in the community.

He highlighted the importance of continuous learning and the need to adapt to various challenges in life. Reza Ahmed expressed gratitude to Basundhara for their collaboration and hoped for future partnerships to provide similar training opportunities.

Empowering the Youth for a Bright Future

The BSLDC has been instrumental in providing quality training to young individuals, enhancing their skills and preparing them for significant changes in their lives. The Friendship project, focusing on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) and Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM), conducted a three-month training program where 20 participants successfully completed their courses.

Moreover, the trainees received 360 hours of practical and career development training during the program. The event was graced by the presence of Friendship Education Program’s Assistant Manager Mr. Olive Hussain, Assistant General Manager Aminur Islam, Senior Program Officer Jamia Rahman Khan Tisha, and Senior Photographer Ahad Hussain Rasel.

In a world where opportunities for skill development are crucial, initiatives like the one at BSLDC are essential for empowering the youth and shaping a better future for all. The dedication and hard work of these graduates serve as a beacon of hope for others looking to make a positive impact in their communities.

The Future Looks Bright

As the event came to a close, it was evident that the Basundhara Language and Skill Development Center has set a high standard for training programs. The participants, despite facing initial challenges, showed remarkable results, promising a bright future ahead. The training center’s unique approach to providing additional resources beyond the course curriculum sets it apart from others in the field.

With a commitment to skill development and a focus on practical learning, institutions like BSLDC are paving the way for a new generation of skilled workers ready to tackle challenges in various industries.
