ঢাকা: বিভিন্ন বেসরকারি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের এন্ট্রি লেভেলে শূন্য পদে শিক্ষক নিয়োগ সুপারিশের ক্ষেত্রে নারী কোটা তুলে দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে সরকার। মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ শিক্ষা বিভাগের সিনিয়র সচিব সিদ্দিক জোবায়ের সই করা এ সংক্রান্ত প্রজ্ঞাপন বৃহস্পতিবার (২২ মে) ওয়েবসাইটে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে। বেসরকারি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের এন্ট্রি লেভেলে শূন্য পদে শিক্ষক নিয়োগে সুপারিশের ক্ষেত্রে নারী কোটার বিষয়ে নিম্নরূপ সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করা হলো- ‘বিভিন্ন বেসরকারি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের এন্ট্রি লেভেলে শূন্য পদে শিক্ষক নিয়োগ সুপারিশের ক্ষেত্রে নারী কোটা থাকবে না। ’ এতে আরও বলা হয়, বেসরকারি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের (স্কুল ও কলেজ) জনবল কাঠামো ও এমপিও নীতিমালা-২০২১ এর পরিশিষ্ট-ঘ এর (ক)-এ বিদ্যালয় অংশের ক্রমিক ২৪-এ ‘সহকারী শিক্ষক (শারীরিক শিক্ষা)’ পদের বিষয়ে এবং (খ)-এ কলেজ অংশের ক্রমিক ১৫-এ ‘শরীর চর্চা শিক্ষক’ পদে নিয়োগের জন্য শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা (ন্যূনতম) ও শর্ত অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে।
