**Accident in Dhaka Claims the Lives of 2 People**
**Dhaka:** In a tragic incident on a separate road in the capital, two people, including a motorcyclist, lost their lives.
The deceased were identified as Siyam (15), a garment worker from Kalshi area in Mirpur, and Adam Ali (55), a cloth merchant from Asadgate area. Three other individuals were also injured in the accident. The police confirmed the information on Friday (January 17th).
Details of the Incident
On Thursday night (January 16th), around 8:30 pm, CNJ rider Adam Ali was injured in an accident in the Asadgate area, where a truck hit his vehicle. He was rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries around 4 am.
Additionally, in the Kalshi area of Mirpur, Siyam was injured when a truck hit his motorcycle around 11 pm. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the doctor declared him dead around midnight.
Family’s Perspective
The deceased Adam Ali’s niece, Mo. Masum, revealed that they lived in Mukta Rampur village in Brahmanbaria district. His father, Warej Ali, was known for his business in cloth trading. Due to his son’s illness, they had come to Dhaka yesterday to see a doctor. Siyam’s friend, Mo. Sirajul, mentioned that Siyam used to work at a garment factory in Rupnagar Eastern Housing area.
Medical Official’s Statement
Inspector of the Police Camp at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Mr. Faruk, confirmed the deaths of the two victims brought in a critical condition from Mirpur and Asadgate areas. The bodies have been kept in the morgue for further procedures.
