In a recent development, the Ministry of Education has issued a directive regarding the resignation of teachers in private colleges. The directive includes instructions on the resignation, retirement, and salary allowances for positions such as the principal, vice-principal, assistant professor, associate professor, senior educator, and professor.
The directive was sent in a letter to the Director-General of the Secondary and Higher Education Department. It stated that a meeting was held on January 17th via Zoom link with all district administrators, officials from the Secondary and Higher Education Department, and the Education Board.
During the meeting, it was decided that for those facing allegations of impropriety following their resignation, an investigation will be conducted at the department, district, and upazila levels to compile a report.
