Dhaka University Admission Test Dates Announced
Dhaka University has officially announced the dates for the admission test for the 2024-2025 academic year. The test for the first year of honors will be held on 25th January, 8th February, and 15th February. The rigorous admission test will take place at Dhaka University’s Khulna center and will last for one and a half hours, starting at 11:00 AM.
Stringent Security Measures in Place
To ensure the smooth conduct of the admission test, a meeting was held on Tuesday (21st January) at Khulna University’s Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Building conference room. The meeting was chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of Khulna University, Professor Dr. M. Harunur Rashid Khan.
During the meeting, it was decided that candidates appearing for the test at different units must not bring any electronic devices, bags, or books, including mobile phones, with them. They will have to enter the campus through the main gate under tight security measures. No parents or guardians will be allowed inside the campus, and candidates must arrive at the campus before the specified time for the test.
Additional Security Measures and Guidelines
Extra police, intelligence agency, RAB, and plainclothes security personnel will be deployed both inside and outside the campus to ensure safety and discipline. Specific guidelines were also provided, such as using university-branded vehicles to enter the campus and the use of university-monogrammed stickers on personal vehicles.

The entire team of security personnel, including Deputy Commissioner Deepankar Dash from the District Magistrate’s Office, SP Md. Sajjadur Rahman Rasel from Khulna Range Police, Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic) Shafiqul Islam, Assistant Police Commissioner (Traffic) Anwar Hossain Khan, and representatives from various law enforcement agencies, were present at the meeting to ensure a smooth and secure admission test process.
