**New Train Service to Connect Cox’s Bazar and Chittagong in February**

In an exciting development, Bangladesh Railway has decided to launch two new trains named Seakat and Prabal Express on the Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong route starting from February 1st. This decision has brought joy to the local residents and tourists in Cox’s Bazar.
On Monday, January 20th, the Chief Operating Superintendent of the Eastern Region’s Railway Office, ACOPS Kamal Akhtar Hossain, issued a press release confirming this information.
The press release mentioned that in order to ensure safe travel for passengers and tourists in Cox’s Bazar and its surrounding areas, a decision has been made to operate two trains on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong route, starting from February 1st. The two trains will be numbered 821/824 (Seakat Express) and 822/823 (Prabal Express), with weekly operations scheduled for Mondays.
###**Train Schedule:**
The Seakat Express will depart from Chittagong at 6:15 AM, stopping at Sholoshohor, Jhaliahat, Patiya, Dohajari, Satkania, Chakoria, Dulahazara, and Ramu before reaching Cox’s Bazar at 9:55 AM. It will depart from Cox’s Bazar at 8:15 PM and arrive in Chittagong at 11:50 PM.
The Prabal Express will depart from Cox’s Bazar at 10:35 AM and reach Chittagong at 2:25 PM. From Chittagong, it will depart at 3:10 PM and arrive in Cox’s Bazar at 7:00 PM. Both trains will make stops at four stations along the Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong railway.
Mohammad Abu Jafar Majumdar, the Station Master of Chittagong Railway Station, informed BengaliNews that starting from February 1st, Bangladesh Railway has taken the decision to operate two trains in this region for the convenience of the local people and tourists.
