President Sahabuddin Wishes Everyone a Happy New Year
President Sahabuddin extends his heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all Bangladeshis living in the country and abroad on the occasion of the Christian New Year 2025. On Wednesday, January 1st, the President expressed, “The Christian New Year comes among us in the eternal cycle of time.”
He emphasized the significance of the Christian calendar in our practical lives, stating that the AD is an integral part of our national and daily life journey. President Sahabuddin hopes that the upcoming new year will bring new opportunities and possibilities amidst the current global economic crisis. He said, “In the celebration of the New Year, let us not forget to take care of those who may not find joy in it.”

President Sahabuddin shared his vision for the new year, aiming for a society free from corruption and injustice, based on equality and justice, a humane state rooted in democracy and welfare. He aspires to build a ‘New Bangladesh’ on the right path.
He believes that by following the path of sacrifice, aspiration, and consciousness taken during the July-August movement, Bangladesh can move forward towards endless possibilities in the new year.
