A workshop on legal aid for students was conducted in Chittagong, organized by the Footnote Youth Association to raise awareness about government legal assistance for students. The event took place at Abdul Latif Khan High School in the Mohra area of the city on Monday, February 10th, 2025.
The workshop saw the participation of several prominent figures, including Rupan Kumar Das, the Chittagong District Legal Aid Officer and Senior Assistant Judge, who served as the chief guest. Among the key speakers were S.M. Aziz, Governor of the Association of Alliance International, Jahidul Karim Kochi, Secretary of the Chittagong Press Club and Resident Editor of Daily Amar Desh, Saiful Islam Shilpi, Organizational Editor of the Chittagong Bureau of 71 Television, and S.M. Akash, Central Executive Member of the Islamic Foundation and Chief of the Bangladesh Today Divisional Bureau.
The event was presided over by S.M. Mamun, Assistant Headmaster of the school, with senior teacher Ali Hasan, board member of the Chittagong Development Authority Jasim Uddin Choudhury, Additional Public Prosecutor of the Chittagong District Court Advocate Saiful Abedin, President of the Footnote Youth Association Md. Saddam Hossain, Joint Managing Editor Kamrul Hasan Fahim, Financial Editor Anisul Islam Anas, Public Relations Editor Mohadded Asif, Executive Member Ishparul Hasan Tasin, and members Shahriar Sajid, Omar Faruq, Jiya Uddin, Linkon Akbar, Azad Hossain, Minhaj Uddin, Irfan Hossain, Arafat Hossain Rabbi, Twinkle Barua, Fahim Anas Asif, Omar Tasin, Ziaur Rahman, Tauhidul Islam Azad, and Sajid Imran present.
